Who knew Jack Darling Park was such a great place to shoot!  We’ve lived next door to this park for almost 5 years and we never took a good walk through it.  Yes, we are dog owners, so for those of you who know this park, you know there was a huge leash free area.  That’s the only part we ever explored…with our four legged lab, Bella.  Thankfully, Dayana and Kordian introduced us to the rest of the place and we’re so happy they did – what a beautiful place!  Add a beautiful couple to that and we’ve got a recipe for a great photo shoot.  They are such a laid back couple and enjoyed showing us around.  While they did that, we tried to capture their personalities in this engagement montage.  Enjoy!

Liz + Simon Engagement Shoot

I knew this was going to be a fun shoot when I saw cowboy boots – yee haw!!!
They were a highlight of the shoot and I think I was more obsessed with them than the couple!  No no, I tamed myself and made sure to deliver a great engagement shoot experience for Liz and Simon.  They are such a laid back couple and it couldn’t have been more easy to photograph them.  They made the pictures what they are – beautiful!
Marty and I love this park now and we really took advantage of as many locations as possible – we could have gone on forever!  Here are some of our favourites:)? Enjoy!

Ewa + Peter Engagement Shoot

It’s always such a pleasure for us to be a part of our client’s special day, so you could imagine how thrilled we were when our friends chose us to be their photographers for their wedding. We’ve known Ewa and Peter for years and we are just so excited about their upcoming wedding in September 2011.  Here are some of our most favorite photos from their engagement shoot.  We just made it before the rain came down!  Hope you enjoy them as much as we do:)

Olszewski Family Photo Shoot

We’ve truly been procrastinating in taking photos of my brother, wife and kids…so finally we were all available on the same day (believe me that’s hard!) and Magy and I got out to take a couple of photos for them.  It was a rushed shoot – kids weren’t too impressed with the location (we thought a barn, hay stacks, large field to run in would be fun!) – clearly we are not thinking like parents yet, but rather like dog owners – because our dog  Bella would have had a field day there!
Regardless, we hope we captured some fun that was had that day and we hope these photos will make the family very happy.  Enjoy!

Michael’s Photo Shoot

What a fun shoot with little Michael!  The weather was acting up so we decided to go to an indoor playland for kids.  Well, try to get a 2 year old to pose for a couple of family pictures when he’s got toys and slides just waiting for him to use!  It was hard, but I managed to capture some of those moments.  Really fun day – hope you enjoy them.
